Hi Lynn,

Today's meeting was a good one.  We talked a lot about how we handle (or don't handle) stress.  It was good for me to see a lot of familiar faces.  Been overdoing it on the carbs and wolfing down my food too much.  No surprise I put on a few pounds.  After I get off the computer I am going upstairs and getting rid of the potato chips and cookies that are in my bedroom.  There is no sane reason for me to buy them.  Obviously you can see how I have been handling my stress.  The first step is awareness, acceptance and then action.  Here comes the action.

Hope that all is well down in Florida for you and Mike.  Still job hunting and working very hard on positive self-talk.  Always good to see you on the PA board.  Take care.

Love, Donna

Topic: Psychologist in Philly area?

Hi all,

Looking for a good psychologist (or similar) in the Philly Area with experience with bariatric patients to talk to/check in with - I live and work in near Western suburbs. Even better if they take Personal Choice insurance through IBX!

Any recommendations? I tried looking on the Mental Health forum but it is vary rarely posted on/visited.

Thanks!

What an excellent WOW moment. I think we all dream about shocking someone with our weight loss! I haven't seen my ex in 17 years but I'm sure he's seen my pics on FB.
